BURRN was forged in fire during the fight to defend Prop 4. After that battle ended, our volunteers realized they weren’t ready to call it a day. This grassroots team of democracy defenders decided to carry BURRN onward as a broader organization focused on the fundamentals of voting rights and citizens’ ability to have a voice in government.
BURRN is now a 501(c)(4), meaning it can fundraise and work on causes beyond the single issue BURRN was focused on initially.
Help us blaze into its 2.0 version! We are looking for more volunteers to help with current and future pro-democracy projects. You can give a little time or a lot, but it ALL adds up to make BURRN what it’s always been about: actual Utahns who come together to fight for things that matter.
